Search suspended after stricken Italian cruise ship moves

A Cruise Liner going by the Tuscan Islands has crashed and is sinking slowly. 11 people have already died and two dozen people are missing from the ship wreck. The ship was cruising along at night and then suddenly they hit a rock. What some survivors are saying, was that they were at dinner and they could here this vibrating sound that is caused by the propellers, but this time when it vibrated it was a lot louder. and then all of a sudden the glass that were on the dinner table started shifting. The chairs and tables started flying to the other side of the ship. 

After they ran to the top of the boat and people took there clothes off and swam to the shore, 200 hundred people swam to shore, the distance from the boat to the shore was 300 feet. What the rescuers are doing is getting diver and blowing holes int he bottom of the hull, so that the divers can look for survivors that didn't make it out. There isn't that much information about how the accident occurred but if more happens i will keep you posted.

Gattica

The movie Gattica was really interesting. The Movie was talking about jeans and how your children's bodies might or might not be effected by your parents jeans. Like at the begging of the movie there was a kid (forgot name) when he was born the doctors took a blood sample and that blood sample told the parents how long the kid would live for, would he have any problems with his body etc. So the doctors said, that the boy would live up the 30 years old and would have heart problems during the years. What i thought was interesting during this scene was. How can scientist make a machine that can read blood? How did they come up with an idea like this? 

Now when you go further into the movie the parents have another kid (forgot name) but this kid before the mother had him, they were able to select what traits the kid would have. Kinda like on the game Sims. They were able to choose the color of the eyes, hair and if he were to be healthy or not and make it 100% that he wouldn't get sick. When the other son was born her was a lot taller then the first one, stronger, etc. But he was not smarter then the first one. 

But the way these two brother would show each other who was stronger was by playing chicken, it when they go to the ocean and see who would swim farther before chickening out. 

The second brother would always win until, one day the two brother were really far out sea and then first brother out of no were just started swimming faster then the second one. By him swimming faster then the second one, he defined what the doctors said, he broke all the rules. He was meant to be really slow and not athletic. But after 10 minutes of being in front of the second brother the second brothers body just died he started to drown. But then brother one dived down and saved the brother two. 

From then we didn't here about brother two anymore. But after that brother one always wanted to go into space and see all the planets. So what he did was he got a special man, its the character who plays in the movie MONK. Anyway this man finds another person who looks similar to the brother one. So what he does is he changes all the features on brother one and makes them as similar to the other guy. So he makes there eye color the same, the hair color and style, the height etc.

Color experement!

 

Here we took the paper and put it in the water to see what happens when the water passes the dots that have the skittles color on it, it should drag the color up with the water.  

 Here we are showing how many different colors their and, from here number one is red, number 2 is yellow, 3 is orange, 4 is green,  and 5 is purple.

 And here the water has passed the dots but out experiment has failed because it didnt drag the color with t because the color was not strong enough. 

Candy Molecules

Here we made 2 molecules. One has 2 gummy bears and a Swedish delight. The red gummy bear represents Hydrogen, the orange gummy bear represents Florine and the Swedish delight represents Argon. Hydrogen has 1 proton, Florine has 7 protons and Argon has 8 protons.

Then in the other picture we have one Florine and 6 protons around it. The Swedish delight is Florine and the others ones around the Swedish delight are the protons. 

Here we have to molecules again. The first one has two Magnesium and Carbon. The Carbon is the big black candy, that the two Magnesium's connect to.

The other picture has Boron, hydrogen, chlorine and Hydrogen.

For some odd years the Los Angeles car shop has made a car challenge, where you make a dedign of a car that you would like to have in the future or a car that you want built. So the car that you design shouldent have so many of earths materials so that you are helping the earth as well. So people had to make cars that were energy used and they had to be light weight no more then 1,000lbs and it had to be able to hold 4 passenger or more. 7 people went into the challenge and there are some pics below about the car a pic with the car. 

So the first car is a Honda Air, It is a electric car that had the inspired by the skydiving wing suits. The glass of the car is able to recycle and the cars metal and others are from a junk yard that were spray painted and the car is only 800lbs. The car has a vegetable based polymer panel.

The next car is made by Mercedes in Japan. The car is called Mayback DRS, the car is fully electric and the car is controlled by a computer that is plugged into a big city transport instructed. The cool thing about the car is that it can be pedaled by the man/ woman so that will driving it is giving you exercise. 

   The next car is a Mazda MX-0, the Mazda is also electric, the people who made this car had three things in there mind to make the car perfect zero weight, zero carbon emission and zero mass. To make the car they  had to use lightweight materials and the car has a super suspensor in the back. 

 

Design

So as you an see the car shops are trying to stop pollution and the destruction of our earth, so they are trying to make environmentally friendly cars that look super cool and that people will enjoy and will keep for the rest of there lives. I think that this paper of these cars is a great idea and if i had my license i would absolutely  get one of these cars.

Kosovo Customs is Back on Disputed Border Crossing

There is a argument between Kosovo and Belgrade. Kosovo would like to be an independent country, run its own borders, have its own schools and have its own post box. Belgrade is not agreeing to let Kosovo have its Independence. During the situation Kosovo has road blocked the roads and Belgrade has done the same. During the argument one Kosovo army man has been killed and shot by a Serbian border security man. When he did that it made everyone crazy and there is a company called KFOR which has France, Italia in it which is a group of army people and they are blocking the roads so that Serbs may not cross. Right now nothing is happening.

 

To me i think that the Serbs are really stupid for not letting the Kosovo people become independent and have there own place and currency. But i think the Kosovo people are right to have blocked the roads so that the Serbs can not intrude and bring illegal stuff in to Kosovo.

Zinc can be an effective treatment for common colds.

Scientists are looking for new ways to take care of colds, one of the ways they found is that taking Zinc will help get ride of the cold. 

The Zinc can take away colds, sore throats and running noise. But they advise that you do not take the Zinc for a long period of time because the Zinc can make you really sick. If you take it for to long it can cause nausea, vomiting, and diarrhoea. Once you start taking the Zinc medication it will try to stop the cold to get in your body in the first place but it will also stop them from going through your noise which they usually travel through. Another thing is that the Zinc will stop you from having it again so if you have it once you shouldn't have it again.

To me this paper or report sounds kinda interesting and i learned that elements such as Zinc can be used to help make people better. This is a good report and sound pretty cool.
